An animal rights organization is seeking information on the identity of the person who was seen throwing a puppy from a vehicle in the Gem Heights area of South Hill near Puyallup last Sunday afternoon. The press release did not provide an exact address for the incident.
According to the report:
A man witnessed a blue pickup truck pull into his neighborhood’s cul-de-sac, throw out something and speed away around 4 p.m. A small, thin puppy emerged from the roadside and attempted to chase after the truck.
The female puppy returned to the cul-de-sac, hiding under a neighbor’s truck when the man tried to approach her. Eventually, he was able to calm the frightened dog and take her home to check for injuries and feed her.
The animal, estimated at about three-months-old, is now being cared for at Pasado’s Safe Haven in Sultan. She has been named Destiny and is available for adoption.
The group is investigating the case and offering a reward for information. Email kimk@pasadosafehaven.org or call 206-300-7218.

At least the dog is OK and the upside is that he/she will end up in a good home.
Something that happened a couple of weeks ago ... a dog rescued from Afghanistan and bought by a UK charity to the US ... it escaped and the shelter it was taken to 'accidently' euthanised it  ... humans!
