  • Love their music. Now if he can only stay sain. They have their own sound which is awesome. Want more music from them.
  • I'm really glad they haven't fucked around during their reunion. First they toured nonstop for almost a year, got to work on a new album, did some more touring, released the new album, have toured around the world this year, next year more touring and hopefully a new album. If only Soundgarden had half the work ethic they have had during their reunion.

maybe hey can return to their roots.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.
  • I don't think it comes down to work ethic. From stuff I've read from the guys in SG, they don't want to force it.

I hope they can keep it together. I had tickets for Velvet Revolver going back a few years ago and they cancelled, had to swap for Smashing Pumpkins/Queens of the Stone Age. (I have to mention, Billy acted like a tool and Queens were better) I guess for now the closest I'll get is seeing Slash with that other bloke singing Velvet Revolver songs at Soundwave. I kinda find him a little screechy though, Scott has a much better sound and STP are, to me, a much better band. I'm not gonna hold my breathe though.

I have to agree - not to rub it in or anything haha. I saw VR at the CA mid state fair in Paso Robles in 2007 I believe (may be off) and I was blown away at how much i enjoyed them and how good they were. I was expecting good, but scott was on and they exceeded my expectations.

I saw them in 2006 at the OC Fair and they were fun, when I saw them in September 2007 though at LA Invasion and they were AWFUL. They looked like a band on the verge of breaking up.

I saw them in 05, they looked like a band that still cared.

Agreed. The last one was a bit too Aerosmith meets hair sounding...almost like a different band altogether.
