Dear fellow Tenclubbers, I'm sure you all have other passions as well as the mighty PJ :?:
I thought I would share and inform you all of my latest project and my other passion alongside Pearl Jam, and you support would be greatly appreciated!
I am currently in development of a stunning photography book, entitled:
SPACE SHUTTLE: A PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY 1981-2011
As I am sure most of you are aware, 2011 will mark the last ever flight of the truly remarkable Space Shuttle.
To the general public, the Space Shuttle program has become "routine". It seems that, for the Space Shuttle and it's brave Astronauts to win extensive TV or broadcasting coverage, a disaster must occur.
At present, the STS Space Shuttle program is winding to a halt. However, by the time you get the chance to own this book, the Space Shuttle program will be all but a memory. My mission, is to make sure it isn't a distant one.
This beautifully crafted photography book, commemorating the 30 Year Anniversary of Space Shuttle exploration, comprises some of the most breath-taking and awe-inspiring images from the Space Shuttle's impressive service history, brought together in one beautifully designed collection.

i'm not on facebook, but my wife is, i'll have her and her gang give it a like.
yes I am waiting for the final mission details and crew details of the remaining flights to be released and comfirmed before the final edition is completed, it's about 80% done so far.
Not necessarily waiting for images from the final missions, as I am not looking to present images from every single flight, but they do have to be "special/WOW" images to qualify. The images have to provoke a reaction rather than be reference related. It will be more like a showcase of some of the best views ever seen from space directly by the human eye, while also showing the Shuttle itself in all it's glory! bit like a "Live On Ten Legs" "place/date" direction i suppose.
