I LOVE Funeral, possibly my favorite one of theirs followed closely by Neon Bible and I just recently got The Suburbs and am really enjoying it, but I too cant wait for the new RA stuff! :D

Honestly, I'd start current. While all are exceptional, The Suburbs is a true modern day masterpiece. It just may take a few listens... for me it's hands down, album of the year. Now here's to Gaga or Katy Perry or some other pile to take the grammy over it!

You need to own everything by them IMO. One of the best bands of the past 20 years. All 3 albums are masterpieces.
And to the OP, I hope ya get to see them. Saw them this summer shortly before the album came out and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

I agree. It feels wierd to not say "oh their older stuff is better". As a musician, It gives me hope for new music. I lovvvvvvee Ready to Start.

For the record love the avatar Taxi Driver is probably my fav movie.

Yeah start with funeral and work up. Funeral kind of like Ten has some awesome anthem songs that i don't know they will ever top: Powerout, Wake Up, and Rebellion always remind me of how killer alive, even flow, and black are no matter how many times i've heard them.

I am a big fan of all their albums.

Oh and i hope they tour. I saw them earlier this year but they are my fav live band now. I put them ahead of PJ, MMJ, and Wilco and that is very high praise cause those are my fav live bands.
