Top Chef: All Stars

Any fans? Last nights episode was spectacular from start to finish. Given the level of chefs they've brought back, there's only a few that I think should go early. These chefs have a lot more ego than their initial seasons, so it's going to be interesting how they take critique going forward (Obviously Fabio didn't take it well). Lots more pushing back on the judges then we've seen before.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

i consider food network porn ...

i'm a bit jaded now tho with these shows as after watching top chef masters and next iron chef ... it seems these shows are politically driven and that the true best chefs don't win ...

Yeah, I think it's easy to get overload. I'm strangely additicted to Chopped too though.

I used to watch the original Japanese Iron Chef when it was on food network, have had a hard time getting into the US version. There's definitely been a few seasons of TC where the best chef didn't win.

i basically only watch the food network on tv ... haha

i like chopped ... pretty crazy knowing you are gonna get a bunch of ingredients and that they won't necessarily complement each other ...

Last night was another great episode. Crazy ending, although I do think she was sent home for her dish, and not her attitude. Love the attitude the chefs are giving right back to the judges.

Season is getting better as it goes along. Really enjoyed restaurant wars last night. The interplay between Fabio and Richard is really entertaining, and there was more focus back on the food.

I wouldn't have thought that Dale would have been a contender, but he's really grown since his first season. Probably Dale, Carla, and Richard in the final 3 if I had to guess.

I haven't seen it uncensored, it's so much funnier hearing it without the *bleeps*

They should have had the shake weight fly away with a umbrella, like Mary Poppins...
