Still can get in. This was just the presale. Regular sale is on Dec. 4th. It's not too late if you can swing it. $37(actually $25 plus $12 fees) tickets were a pleasant surprise as well. Remember those?

Saw them 2 times, once after I'm Wide awake was out, once a few weeks before Cassadaga in a mini club. Although I don't listen to them all the time anymore, they were one of the defining groups in the 00s. Saw tons of Saddle Creek bands in those days: Cursive, The Good Life, Azure Ray, Rilo Kiley. There was kind of a special atmosphere every time one of those bands came on stage. Definitely a lot of hype involved but those are some good bands.

No doubt about it. I love those other bands as well. From all I've heard this may be the last Bright Eyes album. A friend of mine turned me on to the Saddle Creek music scene around 2001. It didn't quite explode the the Seattle early 90's scene but I have nearly just as much fondness for it.

Very cool! Definitely gonna be a really amazing show. I'd be all over those tickets if i was back home, but I'll be in school. Hopefully they do release some more tour dates!

I'm sure they will. I can't imagine Conor passing up a long tour to promote The Sound Strike more. Just don't expect a show in Arizona.

As long as Connor (along with the Mystic Valley Band) releases quality solo work like his self titled record...
