2nd Shows? Why No Info From 10c

    Well I just bought Tue night of Berkely Row A orchestra off TM so I hope they are legit.

    I like it! Everyone had a chance...not saying anything gave the public the edge on the scalpers, perhaps?

    was announced a few days ago and went on sale as soon as the first one sold out.

    I dig that, too. My good friend in Bellingham managed to get tickets to that one. :)

    It's not uncommon for 2nd shows to be added in this fashion without any heads-up. This would be between artist management/promoters & venue booking agents, with TM in the know. The 10C has nothing to do with extra shows. You may as well blame your right foot, it would be as at fault as the 10C is.

    I'm really confused. Why didn't we know about this second Berkeley show?!?

    A Tuesday night show would have worked out much better for me, but I didn't even think about checking Ticketmaster for extra shows.

    Funny how Ed was fighting Ticketmaster not long ago...now he's "announcing" shows through them...and not the 10C. ????

    I'm so confused.

    because if the first show hadn't sold well, there wouldnt be a second show. you can't announce a show that isn't set in stone.

    Maybe it's just me, but it seems that there are more regular fans getting tickets, and getting good tickets, for those shows that get randomly added on TM at unannounced times.

    I know several people that just got shutout on san diego night 1 but all got orchestra for night 2 once it got put up there...

    Sure, it would be nice for 10c to keep us informed, but this might actually be to our advantage...

    you think there is any chance the 10C was able to hold some seats and they'll do another 10c-only sale? i guess that's my only hope at this point....or maybe I could find someone to trade my monday night for tuesday?

    I emailed Ten Club about the second SD show earlier this week. Here's the response I got. I interpreted it as a denial. To be blunt, I'm really unhappy and frustrated.

    Exactly. Wouldn't surprise me if it would have sold out thru 10c only.

    An Official fan club telling you about a show that has not been officially announced is a big no-no. Those people work for the company...they cant give out company secrets just like you cant give out insider info from your job.

    I never said I questioned it. But thats how the second shows work. They wait for the first to sell out, and put the second one on sale.

    But if for some reason the first one doesnt sell out, they wont put the second one on sale...or they wait a week, etc.

    It also helps with the scalping situation. Catches the scalpers off guard so real fans have a shot.

    Theres quite a bit of strategy top it. I'm sure Ticketmaster has more knowledge about it than you do.
