Surprised The Strokes Never Opened for PJ

I would've thought they would've been an opening band for Pearl Jam since Ed likes them and Julian is a fan of Pearl Jam. The Strokes would be a great opener for Pearl Jam.

    I think they'll be touring next year when the new album comes out.

    New album comes out next year. Albert Hammond, Jr. said it's going to have ten songs. Can't wait!

    just saw them for the 1st time at ACL this year & they were great!!! i'd love to see them open for PJ!

    Love the Strokes but would rather see them headline a "small" tour rather than open up for PJ. sorry

    Now that'd be awesome... Saw the Strokes this year in Sydney.

    Wouldn't have minded seeing Gomez Open for Pearl Jam when they did.

    Kings opening for them was pretty awesome :)
    oh and Ben Harper and liam Finn weren't too shabby either! haha


    but bring on the Strokes!!

    Both PJ and The Strokes got very huge early-on, so neither band have spent much time as an opening act.

    Im not sure The Strokes could sell out an arena or ampithearter on their own tho....maybe, but i doubt it. Because of this, I think they'd fit well as an opener for PJ...otherwise they'd be playing smaller venues on their own tour.
