If I was dead spirit instead of a live woman, I could say anything
I could whisper and speak and the ghost hunters would get their sensitive instruments out
they'd assess the air
maybe try to record the sound sliding down the hallway walls as I ran by?
but I wouldn't bring a cold chill, I'd be a warm spot for sure
if I was invisible, I could say what made me burnin' angry
and what made me hurt so much
and what I wasn't able to mention when I was alive
if I was a phantom spirit in an old decaying house,
I'm sure I could drive those guys crazy
