My Brother is Dead

My brother died a long time ago
when he no longer was John
before knowing who that is
intrepid
we walked on eggshells
feared
believing in his innocence
he will figure it out
suspicious anger shuts out.
A game of guilt
for responsibility?
a common political split
but for me its personal
wandering without home
family health friend belongings
finding ourself everywhere
the symbiotic cycle
is he dead?
will either of us ever be alive?
