    We have ten club special seating and ear plugs ready, but my wife and I are having second thoughts about bringing our 15 month old twins to their first rock show. (They did see Foo Fighters while in the womb). We are fully aware that we may not see the entire show, but it would be a great story to tell them. We do have an excellent sitter for Vedder and Winter, but they may have to sit this one out. Any thoughts?

    Well, as a Mom with a now 21 year old...I say ya'll need to go sans babies and enjoy the hell out of the band and each other.

    Happiness and letting loose every now and again makes for much better parents.

    I took mine to his first at age 7, and he has been going ever since. He will be with me in Austin and San Diego. To be honest, your twins are too young to appreciate the experience and you and your wife can 100% appreciate it with some time to yourself to be totally absorbed in it. You won't be with your twins there.

    But, you two are the ones that will know what is right for you...

    Thanks we are leaning towards keeping them at home, but we also wouldn't mind hanging out with all the other forum members whom were so graciously praying for our family for all this time.....

    Update:) Just over 8 years ago I asked this amazing community for prayers for our newborn son and daughter. I want to first apologize for not following the forum over the last few years. (Fatherhood has a way of changing things). But my twins are doing amazing. They are 8 years old and we thank God everyday for allowing us to be parents. Oh and our son Vedder, well we named him Vedder because the nurses in the NICU told us all the other babies were crying but our son was singing.... :) Well he hasn't stopped singing, even though he was born to parents with no musical talents. Even before he could talk he has been humming a tune. I do my best to explore all the artists he's got interest in and if you get this kid anywhere near the stage SOMEHOW he ends up on it. Thanks again for all the well wishes and prayers over 8 years ago, it gave us STRENGTH in such a CHALLENGING time. For that we will be eternally grateful. GOD BLESS





    Our son Vedder covers 2-3 songs per week over all genres of music and posts them to his instagram if anyone wants to check him out.

    That's awesome! So happy to hear everything going well. Vedder and Winter look amazing. It's incredible to see the tenacity, courage and down-right kick-assery of kids. I have 2 daughters. The 11 year old is more like my wife...into Avett Brothers and such. The 5 year old is more like me...Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Foo Fighters. She commandeers all my PJ shirts and wears them to bed. Congrats on your two and here's to many more stage appearances.

    My gosh how time flies...quite a journey the past 8 years! I have a 2 and a 4 year old boys and time will not stop whatsoever. So just keep going!!!

    Our son Vedder won 2 tickets from inningsfest for his cover of Just Breathe and NOW WE ARE GOING TO HIS FIRST EVER EDDIE VEDDER SHOW! He’s been covering a different Pj or EV song everynight for 10 days straight. He’s so excited

    My wife Desiree & I look back at this post and the comments frequently to remind us how fortunate we’ve been. We will forever be grateful to this Community! My son vedder and I are looking forward to meeting any of you guys that are attending INNINGS FEST!
