    I'm surprised no one has blasted the "turkey pardoning" as being unnecessary government spending. You figure that they have to pay people to set up the podium, the microphone, the security, and all that other stuff all for a turkey that is going to die anyway?

    I wonder how much this "event" costs.

    I think its stupid that they say pardoned. The turkey didn't do anything wrong. How about call it 'freeing' a turkey.
