Pretty Hate Machine Remastered

Anyone picked this up yet? Its really good. I'm waiting for my order, but I've been listening to it streaming on NME. If you liked it before, you'll like it more now I'm pretty sure. Its sharper - it just sounds better.

    Didn't think it was out til the end of the month? At least not here in the UK...........

    Just listening to the NME stream, sounds pretty good to my ears - definitely more clarity.

    I'm on the fence Jane...seriously, how much better can it be to be worth buying again. I think Im on my 3rd copy of PHM anyway :lol:

    only listened through it once... and haven't played it next to the old one yet to really hear the difference... but theres definitely a sharper quality to it

    and they played around with the outro to ringfiner a bit, no? sounded much better

    glad they put get down, make love on there too :)

    I ordered the remastered PHM yesterday. It's one of those definitive recordings, that's how I validate adding another copy to my collection.

    Heard it a couple of times in a row. THIS is how I wish my PHM record sounded every time I heard NIN live!! Trent's vocals are a bit louder and sharper, the bass is richer and instruments are crisper all around. "Something I Can Never Have" is brilliant, just get some headphones on and have the most powerful listening experience.

    The packaging is pretty damn cool too! Trust me, this remaster is still absolutely worth purchasing.

    You can get it off Amazon for like $8. Listen to it through decent headphones and see god.

    Anyhow, mine is currently in transit, currently in Des Plaines IL.
    Far out, it's been in the USA for a week, hurry the hell up I want to listen to it!
