They've updated it a few times since the contest started. Seemed like for the first 2 weeks though they didn't because "Hemingways Lions" was in first for quite awhile. A great deal of these bands gig regularly and have some kind of promotional machine working for them. Also seem to be a bit younger and thus have a crazy network of people that they "friend" or "sext" or whatever the fuck kids are doing these days.

Matt and I have full time professions/careers that are IMO 'non-negotiable,' so any promotion is organic and starts with the two of us. Pearl Jam and ultimately this message pit is what united us to begin with, so to have so many of you faithful friends help spread the word has been SO amazing, and humbling. We don't take any of it for granted guys! I for one certainly had no clue we'd even reach one, let alone 10-15 of you with what we've done and continue to do.

Contest does end today, Wednesday at 11:59pm and we'll just see where the chips fall tomorrow. Again, thank you to everybody who has replied. Stay tuned for the raffle....
