I just listened to this vinyl and it made me realize how high on my list Mmj has gotten. Been on a big kick. Could be the turning of the weather. And, yeah, no better companion to these fellas than a few nice bong rips.

Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

Not only my co-favorite band, but one of the best live DVDs I've seen. Outstanding stage set/lighting, great camera work, impeccable sound mix. It's a classic...really captures their live show well.
  • watching it again. *bump* 8-)

I've never seen the DVD. But your account of it is accurate, I'm sure. The record is incredible on it's own, but I imagine the film is just that much better.

If you love the Okonokos dvd check out Acoustic Chorale. It is basically the same thing but songs that didn't make the Okonokos cut.
    1. Bermuda Highway
    2. At Dawn
    3. Sooner
    4. Where to Begin
    5. I Think I'm Going to Hell
    6. Strangulation

the last two songs are mind blowing
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”
