    Thank you all!

And not at all, Chadwick. The unlost dogs are generally a quiet little pack of three.

I'm wondering why, if the tornado sirens are going off, the person taping isn't heading for the storm cellar. Isn't that how those things work? Here in hurricane country we have plenty of warning and time for taping. But then, we don't have sirens for those. Just a week of increasingly dire weather predictions and battles in grocery store dairy aisles, most commonly followed by a half a day of rain and a tiny bit of wind.

Of course, every bunch of years or so we have houses destroyed but not all that often.

Back to the thread: Where's my cake? :x

Judging by the clear skies at the beginning of the video, I'd guess the dogs are howling at the monthly test of tornado sirens. I live in the southern end of Tornado Alley and while we don't get the kinds of early warnings that you have with hurricanes, most people learn pretty quickly how to tell if it's "tornado weather." Weird changes in the atmospheric pressure, followed by heavy thunderstorms and hail mean it's a good idea to take precautions.

Now that we've had our meteorological lessen for the day, again back to the thread. Answer: We thought YOU were bringing the cake.

The greeting take the sting out of having been in the first (i.e. the oldest) group of names listed on the "today's birthdays" section.
