Tom Petty - Honey Bee

On the 'Runnin Down A Dream' DVD, Mr. Dave Grohl sums it up perfectly when he says this song is just 'killer'. Like the kind of song a bunch of teenagers are playing in their garage to get themselves off.

At that stage in his career, Petty pulled out an absolute rocker. It's one of the most badass songs I've ever heard, and it's even more fun to play along on the guitar.

Wildflowers is just a great, underrated record. House in the Woods is awesome too.

  • I will echo (no pun intended) the sentiments of Matt, Johnny and The Rock. Killer track on a very underrated and cool album.

I didn't realise Wildflowers was such an underrated record. I've only just recently discovered Tom Petty so I have no idea what's considered the best material or the worst, or what is considered his artistic peak?

All I know so far is that I love Hard Promises, Long After Dark, Southern Accents, Full Moon Fever, Wildflowers, Echo and Mojo :)

Get Last DJ...Completely underrated. Tom does take it a little too far with the ranting(against a business that made him), but there's only a couple songs on there that are overboard(Last DJ, Joe the CEO or whatever) and they're still pretty cool musically.

If it's possible, I found Mike Campbell's most tasteful solo >>>Like A Diamond
