Hey all
If you all use iTunes, try searching for NPR's "All Songs Considered" or "All Music Considered" podcasts. Also KEXP has a bunch of great live shows you can download for free and put on a disc.
I'd suggest both Band of Horses performances from 2006 and 2008 (?), Radiohead live at the SB Bowl during the In Rainbows tour, Spoon, Fleet Foxes and Black Keys are on there too. There's a treasure trove of high quality sounding live broadcasts worth looking through and their FREE.
Putting them on a disc is fun because you can't track forward at all. You have to listen to the whole show.

The Jonsi one they just put up is good, plus there's some older shows from Gillian Welch, Tom Waits, and Iron & Wine that are well worth searching out.
Thanks for reminding me about this, I noticed there's a P.I.L. show they've got that I've got to listen to.
