Moments of Clarity

Moments of clarity have no nuance
They're the Derek and Clive of the mind.
You wake and you see that the night made no sense
when the dawnlight begins to unwind.

Moments of clarity really aren't kind:
They're the splat on a colourful scheme.
You're munching, then somebody pulls back the blind
And you're eating a dogshit icecream.

That's not the problem so much. It's when the negatives get positive that I get neutral.

It doesn't take even a special moment of clarity,
to understand what I'm saying here, Fins, I hope for sure!

Only on this forum could a moment of clarity dissipate into a cacophony of "huh"?

    Dude,

I believe the "miscellaneous negative" comment was directed at my comment. But I hope that you get that I was just saying "clarity sucks especially after one writes what one thinks is his or her masterpiece (but with clarity one may find that its really just a master"piece of shit"). See, its a play on words and in the context of your "dogshit ice cream".

Of course you know what I mean.

    But just clarifying....

Interesting. I thought that comment was directed at me and I didn't even remember saying anything... Paranoia much? You bet!

You are paranoid about being called negative?
    Or
    Yes, pair annoys you much
    Or
which "comment" are you referreing to....mine or the "miscellaneous negative" comment?

    Please Clarify
    Thank you

I don't clarify... I claarify. 8-) And even then I don't do much of that because I like to keep people guessing.

It's different from your other works in the pacing. In other works it felt like very quick walking on a sidewalk. The sounds you use in this one feels more like everyday tempo walking on a paved path.
