I know this isn't possible (not because she's a female, but because she is an idiot) and this is just her little way of making money off the tea baggers (just like she had that rally in Alaska for the victims of 9/11- yet none of the victims received a penny) , but just imagine if she were to become president..... Oh shit! Her finger on the trigger to launch nukes! WTF!!

Sarah Palin believes she can be the next president of the United States.

The former Alaska governor told ABC’s Barbara Walters that she’s considering running for the Republican presidential nomination. And if she won it, she said, she could defeat President Barack Obama.

“I’m looking at the lay of the land now, and ... trying to figure that out, if it’s a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it’s a good thing,” Palin said, according to a short video clip released by ABC News.

Walters followed up with the key question: “If you ran for president, could you beat Barack Obama?”

Palin’s response: “I believe so.”

Wonder who her apponents will be in the primaries, are there any other republicans who have given an indication that they want to run in 2012?

i saw the thread title and was waiting for the punchline....

    too bad there wasn't one...

if she runs and wins this country will deserve it. because that means that the glitz of the media darling is more powerful than the message of those that really have ideas on how to govern.

You have to remember, she has about as much political experience as Obama when he was elected. The Republicans jumped all over Obama saying he was only a one term senator and not experienced enough politically to be president. So she says she can beat Obama when she QUIT as Alaskan governor and now works as a correspondent for Fox News while travelling the country as a spokesperson for the Teabaggers. So a non politician who doesn't hold an elected office says she will be the next president? I wonder how the GOP will spin this around in their favor. I think I just voted to re-elect Obama.

i think his 2 years of experience as president has trumped whatever political experience she has.

if she won the nomination it would be at the dismay of the rank in file Republicans and the best thing for Obama

if the election were today I think a ground hog could beat Obama

Yeah, but lets not forget Obama proved he had the back bone/brains/mental capacity to take on the job.... He did tons of interviews, ran a solid campaign, debated with grace, traveled like crazy, didn't screw up all that much, and obviously showed the brains! ....
I'm remembering two key moments....one was when Obama called out McCain because McCain wanted to cancel a debate because he wanted to focus on the economy - and B.O. said "you have to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time......." and then during the debate ....They were talking about Brazil and McCain told Obama that he probably didn't know anything about the subject...then Obama responded "actually I do" and went into deep details on the subject blowing away McCain's comments...... that gave me wood!:lol:;)

I don't even want to get into how bad palin is/was....it's not worth my energy.... she is a joke ...it's that simple....

because that means that the glitz of the media darling is more powerful than the message of those that really have ideas on how to govern.

Wait, you lost me. Are we talking about Palin or Obama?

Really? Do you really think Obama and Palin are equally qualified or are on the same intellectual level??

Would you want Palin holding the highest office? Representing America?
  • Well what do you want her to say. I am going to run for President of the USA, but I think I cannot win. The same foes for anyone. Just saying. Do I think she will win, well I'll tell you this she will not get my vote but neither will President Obama.
