First of all, i'm new here sooo...hey what's up?

If you guys haven't heard this band you need to. I just found their music a couple weeks ago. Go to YouTube and look up their songs "In These Arms" and "Low Rising". These are the two I have been listening to.
Society, have mercy on me
Hope you're not angry if I disagree...

  • go see them live. ive seen them twice, and the live version of i have loved you wrong, at the end of the song where its just lyrics sung and all the other instruments fade away

and often times glen has one of his frames pals come out, and have the guy the violinist colm con iomaire i believe thats his name, anyways he does this song with just the violin its one of the most impressive things i ever seen.
  • Fantastic duo! I discovered them through 'Once' when it played at TIFF way back in 2007 or 2008 and fell in love with them immediately. Glen's voice is sooooo fucking raw and powerful, extremely intense. My favourite song is probably "Leave" or "Say it to Me Now" for the intensity (and I dare anyone to say they don't love 'Falling Slowly'), but I'm digging the new album too. I saw them play over the summer, such sweet people and completely genuine.

I will, thanks!! I didn't know them at all, never even heard of The Frames until I saw "Once" (I love that film!) but was hooked very quick, I like Glens voice :D And since Once I am waiting to see them live, so there was no other option than to go :)
Swell Season played in Hamburg at the beginning of this year (march I think it was) and I tried till the last day, atually until a couple of hours before the show to get tickets, but wasn't lucky. The more I am happy to get The Frames now!
