Someone mentioned that they were going to see Fistful of Mercy last night. How was it? Setlist? Did they have an opener? What time did they go on?

    I bought this cd and was pretty excited about it. VERY disappointed. And apparently I'm the only one. Well on here. Because I gave it to two co-workers who both really like Ben HArper, and they both thought the same thing. One good song, Father's Son, which they seem to play on every tv appearance (which they should because it's very good and the best they have), and the rest is just blah to me. Just had to throw my 2 cents on this. Probably not the right thread. I've read a few of them here, and this one just had the general title.

    There, I feel better about sharing that. Sorry for the rant. Ben needs to get back with Relentless 7. Now that's an album.

    On a sidenote, the intrumental on the FOM cd is very good and could have been something very special.

    Interesting, 'Father's Son' is probably my least favourite FOM song, and I absolutely love the album!

    Different strokes. R7 is pretty sick too.
    Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

    Father's Son is my favorite off the album too, but I like the majority of it. I'm hoping her gets back with R7 as well- my favorite of all that Ben has done. The new album was supposed to be out in the fall of 2010 - but I haven't heard anything about it in awhile

    hmmm... i'm confused... the album is already released in the us? when i tried to buy it on amazon it said that it will be released on december 3rd...

    there is a thread called "Fistful of Mercy Live" maybe you find some infos in there...
