I dont listen to any other music other than Pearl Jam. Its because Im loyal PJ and all other singers dont seem to have a voice that changes with every song.(Like Eddie) It seems like they just sing to sing. I also dont like the Im a rock star or on MTV type personalities.
I say this whith a question about KOL. Dose anyone think KOL fall into that catagory. Did they get alot of their fame by opening for PJ. I realy feel they Have taken more of a comercial route than PJ at their pointof their career.
Some words when spoken...Can't be taken back...

    What... the.. fuck...

No. Their fame came with having two singles that catched on and then exploaded with the "mainstream".

Say what you want about thier "poporiented' two albums - they still put out quality.

They came on at about 8:45/8:50 in Boston - Played til 10:25ish - Not too long but I thought it was a good show. We were right up from with GA tix...3 people back front the front! Not too shabby!
If peace is real why can't the world be it?

I'm so pissed they canceled the NJ show. Because of a video shoot. How lame.

I really doubt that it was a video shoot. Probably more like bad ticket sales. There were still GA tix available as of last week.
  • They announced it was for a video shoot that had to be done and that tickets will be refunded.

I wouldnt get too excited. Saw them in Boston on Sunday. Played for about an hour and 20 minutes...Left the stage at exactly 10:!5... I couldnt believe it... As far as hearing slow night, so long, youll be incredibly lucky to do so. Mollys Chambers, The bucket, and Four Kicks. Thats all Boston got from albums one and two....their best albums. After that, its like listening to a different band... Still enjoyed the show, but there is soooooo much more potential there and so much good music. They are somewhat boring as well, just kinda standing around. Even after all the disappointment, like I said, I still enjoyed the show.

Their first 2 albums are kinda generic basic rock at the high points. I am glad they've developed their own sound.

i think you got it the wrong way round, i hope anyway
  • They just seem to be the band people love to hate these days. Oh well, it's all subjective. Saw them at Austin City Limits last year and loved the show. I like them a lot. Crawl is one of my favorite tunes these days. Hope you enjoy the show!
