My Bubs In-Utero Concerts!

Last year my husband and I unfortunately went through an ectopic pregnancy and were so devastated. We decided to head off to Melbourne to see Pearl Jam and then to Christchurch after seeing them play in our home town of Adelaide, just to get away from it all. Unbeknownst to us, we were pregnant at all 3 shows and were delighted to find this out when we got back! We consider our little one to be rare PJ fan after experiencing 3 shows in-utero! Thanks guys for 3 amazing shows that took our minds off all that crap for a while, you'll always be my favourite band! xoxoxox

    :D

I was nearly 6 months pregnant and present at both NZ concerts, so we had a shared experience at Chch, although you just didn't know, I sure did :-) thankfully I got 10c tix to the auckland gig and everyone was most gracious and kind to me, I was right up the front but fine, so much fun. I wasn't expecting it but everyone gave me a little circle of space, I thought to myself, it's a reflection on a band as to how the audience behaves ;) For Chch I was in the stands, with my bestie who was 8 months pregnant, we got to cut every line that ever there was, toilet queues, coffee queues, even got to take in food when we weren't supposed to. Who really would argue with 2 pregnant women and deny them their chocolate and snack bars anyway??

Best Time Ever! And of course I'm sure my little man recognises Faithful now when he hears it...and no, cynical people, I did not call him Vedder, Ed, or Jeremy :P

Hehehehehe, that's cool! I didn't call her after anything PJ either, would have been a little tacky I think. Dahlia really likes it when I play "Thin Air". Just think, our bubs both got to hear Neil Finn and Ed's sing!!! What a moment! I agree about getting the audience to behave themselves, some bands get off when people act like crazy jerks. Eddie told some bloke off in Adelaide when I was there, told everyone to beat him up if they saw him on the train home, hehehehehe. You take care mate and hope our little tackers have the same appreciation for them at our age!
