what happened
to this town
now razed to the ground
what happened
to this town
here there used to be playgrounds
and now
I see here only holes
in the ground


I think
of this world...
'think of you ...in this world
what happened
to your town

... your town

everywhere I see
I see Your men fighting
only to be free
I shut my eyes
and I can see Your men still clearly
I see them on a killing spree
I look at me
killing things
inside me

what happened
to this world...
what happened
to me ?

‘pray all gets well and this world gets better
‘pray we survive, 'n we get ourselves together
‘pray all gets well and this world feels better
‘pray we survive 'n we get our shit together

…and you are so young
you're just a child
I see killers in the skies
making killer
girls and boys

killer in me

but you are too young...
you’re just a child
it's breaking me
and no longer
can I see you cry

I pray you get well and this world gets better
for you

... still together
and still proud
with love in their hearts
and their minds
still sound
...but the noise
it’s too fucking loud

they believe You're within
…and without
just not
in their town

    ooh the faith no more line really finishes the thought well...

    funny that this made you think of a song because this too is a song Godfather... I'm seldom truly content with the finished songs my friends and I write, but i think i can say without feelin too uneasy that the vocal melody and the chords we have to this song have a lot of feeling... and they;re simpe... song's got a low tone to it
