Music you listen to when depressed or sad or melancholy?

This could be music to either lift you out of that mood, to make you happy, or it could be, conversely music and albums that makes you feel even more depressed, or music that is sad and melancholy, or that merely is a comfort to you because it lets you know you arent alone in what you feel, it mirrors how you feel.

    something to get out of the mood, anything by polyphonic spree. to stay in the mood i listen to nick drake, iron & wine,
    arcade fire seems to help me just get my mind of things. i get distracted by them lol, especially watching a video of them.
