This guy is a total mess. Saw him w/ STP earlier this year and he is not looking or sounding too good these days.

    He brought this all on himself. I don't feel bad for him at all. The guy has been given a million chances to turn his life around and he's wasted them all.

    Saw them in Dublin this year in the same month I saw RATM and Pearl Jam twice.3 out of the four shows were awesome. STP musically were a great band, but the guy is a tool of the highest order, and unfortunately the band have little stage presence left. Only the drummer seemed really up for it. And i aint makin no comment on the most recent album. A band like Pearl Jam (and i know as fans we are spoiled), constantly make the effort for the fans, be in rediculous amounts of releases, a few minutes before a show signing autographs, near constant touring, and 20 years in, release an album of the calibre of Back Spacer. Sorry but Stone Temple who now?


    And that was my two cents. I'm off tomorrow night, Scott Christiansen will be covering for me. But coming up next...; which works better, the springy clothes pegs, or the other kind??

    I saw STP twice this summer in the UK, and I could not fault them. Maybe you got a duff show, I don't know, but the Deleo brothers were both on fire, especially Robert, he's a very charismatic performer - not something you could say about most bass players :lol:

    Anyway, I think they've got a way to go before they quite recapture what they had about ten years ago when they were probably at their peak, but I've still hope in them yet.
