Liam's band, Barb, is working on music for next Avatar movie. Pretty sweet. Can't wait for some new Lightning from Liam! 8-)

    Liam is my into to Indie Rock Music. I love it. Makes me feel young again. Glad to have some Liam friends out there.

    what album do you suggest I start with for Liam? I saw him open for Ed in the ATL solo shows and I liked him, but have never heard any of his albums before

    As a side note, I'd reccomend everyone see him at one of his own shows. Unbelievably good.

    I'll be lightning is hands down his best / comprehensive work. he has a couple of live albums but some the songs are duplicated.
    The Barb album had a couple really good songs but I didn't like it as good as the lightning album.
    if you are interested and haven't heard of Niel Finn(Liam's dad), there is lot of material out there for Crowded House, Split Ends, and Niel Finn.

    i agree about seeing liam at his own show. i was lucky to catch him later in 2009. he is a great show and has no shortage of material.
