Does anyone know who is opening up for KOL in Boston Sunday night? Or who has been opening for them on this current tour?

    The black keys when i saw them a couple months ago, I don't know if it's still the same tour.

    The Whigs are good too. They played at the Ottawa Bluesfest this past summer before The Hold Steady, or so I dimly recall (the 12 straight days of gigs are kind of running together now!). I wasn't impressed by the studio stuff I had heard prior to the show, but they can really bring it live.

    Thinking of hitting the Garden tomm night, anyone know what time have they been coming on and how are the new songs live?

    My buddy saw them in Boston the other night. Said that they went on stage just before 9:00 and were done playing by 10:15. 20 song set.

    He said, as usual, they sounded great and the new stuff was good. Just too short of a show.

    Yeah, I decided to drive down from Portland last minute for the show. They did sound great, but it was very short. I keep hoping that they will start playing longer shows, but it just doesn't seem to be the case. Shame because of all their great material. Fortunately I was able to score a pair of center ice LOGE seats for $80, much better than the $75 they were charging for them after fees.

    It should also be noted that there were a TON of empty seats in the Garden. Most of the LOGE was full, but the balcony was pretty much empty.
