sounds
all of them started up

and it was just like
everything was singing
doves to orchids
crows to violins
roses had chimes to touch
as she weaped

while the house on the hill flew home
a stranger walked by
close the windows
the sunset is happening now
and the moon is staying in
for poetry through the ceiling. ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."

Chief Joseph - Nez Perce
