Linday Buckingham may be the most underrated musician in rock and roll. Seeing him do I'm So Afraid and Big Love was one of the more awe-inspiring live musical performances I have experienced.
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.
My parents played "Tango in the night", and "Greatest hits" and so I like alot of those songs and have great respect for them. They do have some great songs. (Don't know alot about the Peter green era Fleetwood).
Saw Tom Petty and the HB play "oh well" live. (I think that was Peter Green Fleetwood era), and Stevie Nicks came out and did "insider" and "stop dragging my heart around" live.
seeing Stevie duet with Tom Petty is the closest I've gotten to seeing fleetwood live.
As a 12-13 yr old boy Stevie was it for me any picture or poster of her and FWM was on my walls! Still love listening to them, great catalog of wonderfully diverse song! I like the Rumors & TUSK line up best!

Love Fleetwood Mac...the Buckingham/Nicks era that is. I wish I could have seen them when they reunited in '97. I still play my The Dance DVD quite a bit.
I got into them through my girlfriend at the time who loved them. 21 years ago after taking her to a Stevie Nicks solo show I said if I ever have a daughter i want to name her Rhiannon.
well fast forward to today, I still listen to FM and i have a daughter named Rhiannon Lindsay (the Lindsay was my wife's choice and complete coincidence although I didn't oppose)
I have seen them twice and would go again
If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?
OP, you think of them as a winter band? I think of them as a summer band. Cruising up the coast or down the Cape with "Gypsy" playing. Love Fleetwood Mac in small doses.

man, I was just driving to work this morning when a fleetwoodmac song came on and I was instantly happy.
Sometimes I thrown on some Golddust Woman when i'm feeling it -- my favorite tune of theirs.

yes, now you've got me going. I'm going to break out the vinyl tonight!
I like the early stuff. I've seen Peter Green live. He's not the wobbly space cadet some people claim. The man can still play.
...
Same here... I like the Nicks Buckingham first two records... but 'Then Play On', 'Kiln House', 'Bare Trees' and 'Mystery To Me' are amongst my favorites... especially, 'Bare Trees'.
