    Sorry to hear that. Didn't know he had been sick, but he was always one of my favorites
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

    saw on the sports ticker he was hospitalized at his own home from dementia, and that was yesterday, so sad to hear him go so quick

    Seriously. Like I brought up in the other thread. Look at that face. He's somewhere between 50 and 60 there. Dude ages like leather in the rain. I always thought he was consistently 85 years old.

    Loved this guy..
    He added to my first experience ever at Candlestick in '78 while he was managing the big red machine. And yeah, come to think of it he looked eighty five then too, ha. He ran out to second to argue a call and stayed there until he got ejected..Thanks for the memories, man..RIP.
