Wet nib/flowing wine… trying

Start
go
put the pen to paper
turn it on
like oil to flame

From here to there
only an eye’s blink away
extrapolating
the sun’s
underside

Someway
I will write today
no matter the island
no matter the star
or frame of mind

Do not blame
empty bottles of wine
while the silver inkwell spills across
a drunken poet
with nothing going on
but a broken
and empty
pheasant quill pen

The only thing
that is left
has not yet been written

"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."

A poem about pushing through writer's block? I've seen these tried a million times and they almost never work. This one does though, probably because it's a little more cryptic than most. Of course, I could be way off.

not writer's block as how it is perceived to be, no; more like a break for my mental health wellbeing.
currently i am stable if i write a poem a day or 3 or 4 poems a week.
i cannot write all day long for years without breathing. (i think i can but i know i cannot and i try)
so now i swim and breathe and relax a bit.

bouts with alcoholism are always a factor. (and whatever else i have going on)
    now it's wine.
and yes 3 bottles are ideal.

1 bottle of wine is just enough to piss me off
why one frickin bottle? that's insane!
anyone who is satisfied with one entire bottle of wine is crazier than a pet coon.

ever try to order a writing quill set online?
