it's pretty nasty camping... from what I heard it's just a parking lot jammed with as much cars and tents as possible.....

you know anyone with a RV?

It's a farm, you'd be camped in the middle of a field with lots of others. You'll get plenty of room to set up your tent and have additional room for chairs etc. around your camp.

There's always something going on at Roo. I wouldn't leave the campgrounds during the weekend unless I absolutely had to. You will have to wait in line to get back in and park every time you return, and then it's a long walk from the day parking area to Centeroo.

It is a huge field with tents, cars, and RV's. Its not really jammed. You have your space to live for the weekend. There so much that goes on you don't spend a lot of time at your camp site.

I am a newbie this year, and not even having been to Bonnaroo, I know ya gotta do it proper! Bonnaroo isn't Bonnaroo without being a fucking hippie and camping out for four nights.

If you camp, bring LOTS of toilet paper. This point cannot be overemphasized enough.

I'm sorry, but I don't know how camping appeals to anyone. I'd never do one of these things.

I went to Woodstock in '94 and we "had" to camp. It sucked more than I can say. I even had hotel rooms booked months before but they said you weren't allowed in unless you stayed there. That was crap and it blew. We ended up leaving early... whole other story. Camping is for suckers!

Roo isnt Roo when you wake up in the morning and are without a bit of dirt on your body from the day before.

Camp, but go VIP if you have the extra coin. It's worth the extra $100/day, and much better than a hotel.

do it right and camp. you can stay in hotel any other show. experience the way it was intended and the way our forefathers of woodstock, montery pop and what not did it. im personally a big fan of jam band festivals and the whole out doors deal. it's especially a nice departure from the city. just think and pack right and you should have one of the best times of your life.
