    That was a fun episode.

The firt half of the season was okay. I'm excited for them to get the hell off the farm and other things to happen.

Same here, I'm really curious about what else is going on in the world around them.

Do you think they'll ever travel outside of Georgia?

I think they will get outside of Georgia, but they may not go to "big cities" I know they do the filming here in georgia and the casting agency they use is based here so i don't see them going to like New York etc plus traveling that far would seem to be dangerous but you never know.

It would be fun if they went to Disney and saw Zombie mickey or something

why not just move up teh road to the next farm house..put up a 10ft fence aroudn the farm.

they are going to also need to switch to diesel powered vehicles....that gas is going go bad pretty quick and gum up the injectors.

once they go diesel they can make their own fuel.

i'd also get a big truck and drive around looking for the nearest gun shop. gotta be some in podunk georgia...right? at least a walmart.

once that was done....set up the farm to grow food and spend the days hunting walkers

i'm telling you, i'd be the king of zombie world.

that reminds me of a tom petty song....it's good to be king, if only for a day....something like that.

100% agree on the motorhome...i said that 20 pages back....i'd be rollin in style in a tour bus....with a diesel engine.

i'd move into a gated house...maybe Jordan's...that's only a few miles from here.

This is one of the very few episodes on TV in which its last few scenes will stay in my mind for a long time, like the final episodes of Lost and Sopranos.

It's good to be king, if just for a while

To be there in velvet, yeah, to give 'em a smile

It's good to get high, and never come down

It's good to be king of your own little town

Yeah, the world would swing if I were king

Can I help it if I still dream time to time

It's good to be king and have your own way

Get a feeling of peace at the end of the day

And when your bulldog barks and your canary sings

You're out there with winners, yeah, it's good to be king

Yeah I'll be king when dogs get wings

Can I help it if I still dream time to time

It's good to be king and have your own world

It helps to make friends, it's good to meet girls

A sweet little queen who can't run away

It's good to be king, whatever it pays

Excuse me if I have some place in my mind

Where I go time to time

also, I don't think Shane is evil but he's not that good either. I couldn't help but feel bad for him- the woman he loves is with another man and she might be pregnant with his baby but still, like they said in the episode- he fits this new world better than the rest of them.

I'm not trying to rain on the zombie parade but am I the only one who has completely lost interest in this show? It had such potential when it got going but to be honest, the writing, plot development, character development, acting, etc. etc. has been brutal. I tried to stick with it, Season 1 was somewhat entertaining, but this season has been dreadful and has gone nowhere. The only redeeming qualities are Daryl's character, the occasional zombie death, and Hershel's daughter is smoking hot!

hasn't been as good as the first season so far but the ending of the last episode was redeeming, i think.
I also like Daryl. i thought he's brother will be back sooner. should be interesting when he does..
hopefully there will be more cliff hangers..

I don't know if you're the only one, but I don't think it is the general consensus. This thread is 57 pages long, and 29 of those pages are for Season 2. So I think interest is still strong.

    It's ok..you can't ruin a zombie parade with just rain...you really need fire! :P

I think last night's episode went out with a bang (pun intended) and I have a feeling things will get exciting again once the crew leaves the farm and when Merle returns...
I want Daryl to take back his zombie ear necklace too...that is sweet.
Show #13 was a lucky one for me....

Yes! They gotta get the hell off of this farm!! I don't see any way that Hershel lets them stay after what happened...

    They're staying on the farm.
Kirkman: I can say that the episode back is probably my favorite episode of the show thus far, so I'm really excited to get into that and have everybody see that. I think it has one of the coolest endings of any episode thus far in the series. There's a lot of cool stuff coming up. They're still living on that farm, but now they've really had all of the tension between the two groups brought to the forefront. Shane's not exactly going to be calming down coming out of what he's just learned.

These groups are going to be butting heads, and they're going to be butting heads over this farm. There's going to be some new conflicts thrown into the mix, and there's going to be some new characters that are introduced pretty early on. There's a lot of exciting new stuff coming up in the season and we're going to be moving these characters forward in a big way and introducing new storylines and new elements and new complications.
  • part of the problem with a show like this is the audience expects, or least hopes, for the whole hour to be like the last 2 minutes of the last night's show. it needs its downpoints and plot/character development for the high points to reach their peak.

everyone was saying "abandon the damn girl already", but this was all leading up to Rick having to blow her brains out, when he was the one who wanted to save her all along. excellent climax to a good half season.

Rick has cemented his place as the leader here, by doing what he did. Shane is second banana again.

I'm just wondering when it will come out that Rick knows about Lori and Shane. How has he not blown a gasket over that yet, especially with Shane always challenging his ideas?

Whatever happens, ain't nothing good gonna happen on that farm.

Least we don't have to worry about them looking for Sophia anymore (that was badass... I actually didn't see that coming)

Wonder when/if the crew will end up at the prison. Such a damn good show.

great episode last night. SOPHIA! I was surprised when i saw her, i really thought they would eventually find her but not as a walker. Anyway, what the hell am I supposed to watch until February? I don't like this mid-season finale b.s. :D

I am guilty of this, although, the girl barely had a role. I would have rather seen this happen to a more popular character. I really didn't miss her from the second they lost her. I just wanted the story to move along.

It was still the most dramatic scene from the series so far, none the less..

i guess i should've been more specific. I mean on sundays. Hell on Wheels is okay. I had higher expectations, its moving kinda slow but hopefully it gets better. I really don't like common in it. Basketball can fill the void though, at least college, i don't really care about the NBA until the playoffs
