jesus, I had no idea. I noticed the big ass poster, but thought nothing of it. where did you read this?pjalive21 said:so evidently Daryl was talking in morse code with his eyes and it was translated to "I Am East" funny thing is i noticed the big ass poster in the living room at the beginning of the episode and some Walking Dead freaks supposidely figured out the rest lol
I also noticed there was a chinese checker board on the wall in Spencer's (or Rickchonne's) house. who puts a game board on the wall as a decoration?

So when is Rick going to get the fire back and start plotting against Negan?
Carl is going to try and take Negan out himself? With no guns?
Lastly, the story is getting old. Whenever the OG crew finds somewhere nice they screw it up or some other leader wants to kill them.
I find it hard to believe that no one is colonizing and trying to rebuild(Ezekiel and the kingdom is). The saviors are obviously parasites and just take from everyone like serfdom so they can't keep going on like this forever.0 -
I'm thinking that Rick is defeated at the moment. He told Michonne that they had to accept it. So he is either hiding his intentions or hasn't had time to recover yet from the trauma. The current opposition seems to be from Rosita, Sasha, Maggie and Carl. But they are lone wolves so I'm not sure about the success. I enjoyed last night's episode.
As to the rebuilding as opposed to scavenging I agree. But the Savior's have a garden and chickens. I almost think it is as much wanting to control the territory as it is needing things. Serfdom seems to be the right term. Alexandria seems to be behind the curve as far as self sufficiency with food and clothing. The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals. Ghandi0 -
Rick looks defeated but he looked at Lucile a few times wanting to hit Negan. I'm hoping that he is just playing defeated to get close to Negan and bash him one, lol.Riverrunner said:I'm thinking that Rick is defeated at the moment. He told Michonne that they had to accept it. The others you mentioned are going to do something soon. I just hope that they do it together...
Rick has said multiple times that Alexandria has been "lucky because of the walls". I'm not sure why they don't have farms in there?
It also bothers me that the walls are held up by bracing OUTSIDE of the compound... Anyone can scale those walls. Stupid design that's bothered me...
The saviors have farms? I thought that was the Kingdom?

The episode about Dwight showed Dwight walking through the compound picking lettuce and tomato(I think - some veggies anyway) from a garden for his sandwich, and he went to the chicken coop and got a couple of eggs to fry.The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals. Another episode that only focuses on 1 group. So I guess with these 8 episode half seasons, we can only expect to see each group for 2-3 episodes?? This structure is so dumb and makes it hard to advance the story.0

I'm thinking the priest buried some guns or something in that empty grave in Alexandria.
So Carl and Jesus are heading to Negans. I hope Negan cuts his hair off.
Also the zombie attack on Hilltop, was that really the Saviors doing or was it someone else?

Simon (Savior leader) told Gregory that they did so the Saviors could come to their rescue to prove that Hilltop still needed them. But he said they saved themselves. Gregory then said (trying to appease Simon) that it was because of the skills they learned from the Saviors.Dr. Delight said:I'm thinking the priest buried some guns or something in that empty grave in Alexandria.

I recall that but it seemed to me that Simon really didnt know exactly what Gregory was talking about. It seemed like he just went along with it and Gregory took it as face value.Riverrunner said:

This show is getting tough to watch.
Anyways, pretty sure if I was in Rick's group in Alexandria...I'd be getting the fuck out at this point. I'd rather take my chances on the road than have to deal with a nutjob like Negan who's just going to come and take your shit and possibly kill some people whenever the hell he wants.
Oh, and if they didn't hide a stash of guns and ammo somewhere in or around Alexandria, that's just really dumb.
As others mentioned, why aren't they growing food in Alexandria? Hell, Rick went on a farmer kick before when they were in the jail. Seems like a good opportunity...0 -
I thought about the gun stash too. If they don't have something hidden...mca47 said:This show is getting tough to watch.

Did anyone notice how passionately Michonne kissed Rick. Like it was a "goodbye" kiss.HughFreakingDillon said:walking dead fan here..........that was by far the worst episode of the series. had a teen drama feel to it. terrible.

worst episode ever, i hate this show! haha. yeee people!
slow episode, no doubt. the writers have their work cut out for them when they try and keep up with four separate communities. i did see that there will be more expended episodes this season -- but that really only means an extra 12-15 minutes of the actual show and the rest is sucked up by commercials. it will be a tough juggling act to showcase all of the communities evenly week after week (or every other week for that matter) -- the comics have great flow at this point in the story, and if the show is not done properly, the story lines will suffer and get derailed. i hope the writers brush the hilltop to the side because that is the least interesting community out of the four. let the kingdom breathe/expand and treat rick/negan's community as one.

I really don't like the format of one community per ep. I think it would do fine if they flipped back and forth each ep. Maybe not.
I'm not a showrunner, so what do I know.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0
