I was flipping back and forth too. Temple blew it. If there ever was a year that they could knock off the defending champs, it was this one.

Nova's winning games but clearly aren't gelling yet the way they hope they will be later in the season. Ugly game.

I was at this event but had to leave because they made our section move to let the DeMatha students sit ther. Many of us were ther since mid-day(12:30 for me), and the place was way OVER-SOLD so ther was no place to sit or even stand. I get the students need a section to sit but it should've been marked off at the start of the event. We would have NEVER sat ther. Was ther for just over 8 hours only to miss the 2 Nova recruits play, and i drove to DC from NJ. Oh well, i got home 2 hours earlier.

Here's a video highlight of the game and it will give you a little idea of how packed that gym was.(I wonder where the Fire Marshall was>LOL)

The 2 Nova recruits are from:

#10 Jeremi Robinson-Earl (Black Jesrsey )-IMG>He was game MVP
      #5 Justin Moore (White Jersey)-DeMatha

Near the end they show the Stat sheet.

Wrong thread as  Gonzaga is not in the Big 5. Plus, i DVR'd the Tennessee-Gonzaga game when i read your post and now i know who won.

If Penn can't beat Nova it will be another undefeated season in the Big 5. If Nova doesn't get beat this year this streak may go on for another couple of years or so.

maybe next year we will actually get to play you with a healthy roster. our best player and top rebounder missed the game.  Not saying Hawks would have won with Brown and Oliva mostly because our coach is a fucking moron but chances would have been much greater.  I'd luv to ask Phil the thought process on letting a team with zero inside presence take 43 3s in the game.  just fucking dumb coaching.

I think Penn has a great chance to upset nova Tuesday.  And if Penn does they could be setting themselves up to at least get into the conversation for an at-large. they beat an ACC team last week. that would be two really big wins.

and you would think a player whose parents got paid could get on the court more than a few minutes against a mid major missing 2 of their top 5 players.  think jay is going to regret taking Quinerly.

Was listening to some Ringer podcast recently and the dude that works for the Ringer who was on the Oden Ohio State team said the going rate for a top recruit is $50k and a car.  Would make sense why Nova was number two for the Arizona kids if they were willing to kick it up a notch.

    Jay gonna get got.

    Aww, that's cute.

Is this Mark Titus? His book was pretty entertaining. Juggler recommends.

Yes, I believe that is it. I always forget his name.  He also said that Oden claims to this day he didn't get anything and that he got made fun of relentlessly for not getting anything when he got to the NBA

Tip of the cap to you, Penn. Congrats.

And Jahvon’s not happy here anyway. Do it the Villanova way or hit the road, kid.
