Exotic flowers!

Here at work we have educational displays that we send out for people to use at county fairs and stuff like that. Well the Maui County Fair occcasionally uses them, and they were a big hit. The guy that used them, he's a sweetheart, and as a token of appreciation, sent these AMAZING flowers from their ag experiment station there at the University of Maui!

They are incredible! One looks like the petals are made out of feathers!

I just wanted to share, never saw flowers like these before. I will be taking some home to draw, my eyes are itching to tackle them (also cuz of the pollen lol) :)

    Hey D! Nah it ain't that kinda party haha he's been very appreciative of our stuff here :) Was amazing to get this huge box filled with all these crazy lookin flowers! Makes me wanna go to Hawaii even more now

    I'll try to upload them to photobucket instead in case other folks can't see either
