MOV posted comment on their facebook saying they don't have the rights to Singles OST or Mad Season. I'll be surprised if they ever press them.0
-
Flat Out . soundstage has no clue . there just moving the date around Keeping that money coming .
Soundstage knows Both " Mad Season" & "Singles" are top sellers and they don't even have official release dates..
When these two LP's do get released and start shipping there is not going to be any kind of shortage .0 -

Time for a refund I think, I'm not having something on pre-order for 12 months.
I went ahead & sent them an email to cancel & refund me the purchased orders.
I preordered Mad Season Above vinyl on 10/01/10 & Singles Soundtrack on 9/18/10. It's coming close to a year & every 2-3 months they keep changing the dates that it will be released. Now they have no clue.0 -
Received a quick reply yesterday evening from SSD. Got both orderes canceled. They won't be able to credit our CC orders cause they were placed 60 day's ago. So they can only refund us via PayPal, store credit or check in the mail.0

Just received this email from What Records this morning.
Just an update on the Singles OST and Mad Season Above Vinyls.
MOV are currently waiting for the go ahead from the PJ management. We hope to get a definite release date very soon and will advise further shortly.
Sorry for the delay but its out of our control.
Cheers

Seems strange that PJ would dictate the Singles release as they only had 2 songs on the album (I guess 3 if you count MLB). And Mad Season has only Mike. Something doesn't make sense. Anyone wanna fact check this with PJ management since they are being blamed for the delay???Bridge Benefit 1994, San Francisco 1995, San Diego 1995 1 & 2, Missoula 1998, Los Angeles 2000, San Diego 2000, Eddie Vedder/Beck 2/26/2002, Santa Barbara 2003, Irvine 2003, San Diego 2003, Vancouver 2005, Gorge 2005, San Diego 2006, Los Angeles 2006 1 & 2, Santa Barbara 2006, Eddie Vedder 4/10/08, Eddie Vedder 4/12/08, Eddie Vedder 4/15/08, 7/12/2008, SF 8/28/09, LA 9/30/09, LA 10/1/09, LA 10/06/09, LA 10/07/09, San Diego 10/09/09, Eddie Vedder 7/6/2011, Eddie Vedder 7/8/2011, PJ20 9/3/2011, PJ20 9/4/2011, Vancouver 9/25/2011, San Diego 11/21/13, LA 11/24/13, Ohana 9/25/21, Ohana 9/26/21, Ohana 10/1/21, EV 2/17/22, LA Forum 5/6/22, LA Forum 5/7/22, EV 10/1/22, EV 9/30/230

It is weird. Both releases are by Epic / Columbia .. Sony Music. Wouldn't the issue be with them then PJ management? I wonder if there was a huge problem with PJ management on the reissue of Judgement Night on vinyl.0 -

So I emailed soundstagedirect and like a dooosh accused them of taking my money. They got back to me within a minute and said it still planning on being released. There is a hol up with a band. He said they would get back o m tomorrow with a possible actual release date."hear my name, take a good look, this could be the day."0

Any word on the reissue? I just checked whatrecords.co.uk and they have removed the listing (and the listing for Mad Season's Above), dammit!0
-
I just went back and checked my preorder. I made it on Nov. 29th/2010, so I'm almost at a year... ugh
I think I put it in because they emailed me a 12% off black friday code.
it would suck to cancel. I think the CDN dollar has appreciated on the US dollar over the last year. So I think I would lose money if I cancelled the order.
I was fooled by the fact they posted a release date. oh well. hopefully its sooner rather then later.0 -
Never heard back. Just emailed them again and they said 1-3 months. Yea ok? I guess we wait some more."hear my name, take a good look, this could be the day."0

If that's the case I best get my refund from What Records!Riot_Mac wrote:So I emailed soundstagedirect and like a dooosh accused them of taking my money. They got back to me within a minute and said it still planning on being released. wow, what a set back, I was about to pre order but from what you said, I'd better not, besides, I was quite disappointed with the Alice In Chains MTV Unplugged Music on vinyl issue, sounds great but quite lame edition...... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...0
