How many cd's do you own?

inspired by mookie's thread, how many albums do you own? I know its hard to calculate these days as most of us dont even really have cd's, we just essentially store mp3's on computers, and on ipods, but how many physical cd's do you own? How many CD'R's have you burned?
I have maybe 500-1,000 physical cd's i bought or was given as a gift.
and its hard to calculate CD'R's but i have those spindles of 50 cd's, organized like mookie by artist last name, i have a spindle for every single letter of the alphabet, many letters with multiple 50 spindles.
total 50 total spindles of 50 cd's. and 4 or 5 100 cd spindles.
i have more cd's than anyone i know

Regrettably I don't buy cd's nearly as often any more. Not because I don't want to, because I'm not exposed to much in the way of things I would consider good enough to buy any more. There are some really great music blogs out there which provide incredible exposure to new things, but it's kind of like drinking from a fire hose. Too much all at once with no real focus or direction.
I always prefer to own a cd over downloading something digitally.

I have around 150, but I'm quite the opposite. I'm from a small town that's nowhere near CD or record stores.
When I'm at school in Los Angeles, I'm, like, 5 miles from Amoeba Music...so I tend to make many trips over the school year.

I've only been working full time for 3.5 years.
CD buying is my biggest vice, I buy them but hardly play them.
I need to cut this out as I need to save for a house.
