Leave the custom sub woofer box building to the pro's. my box is so over budget and so ugly. however, i do believe it sealed up good and the right dimensions.

Thought you were going for simple? And what sub did you choose?

$20 bucks for the MDF board
    $1 for wood screws
    $3 for wood glue
    $3 for liquid nails
    $20 for beer

    Done deal.

The concept is simple, the execution was a little more complex. I built a basic retangle box. It got real messy when i took a router to the speaker hole. what a mess.

the box is built, but it looks brutal. I might give it a second go round.

I ended up going with the JL 10w3v3. can't comment on sound since it was just delivered today. i'll put it all together after work.

i never have tuned anything, not even a guitar or trumpet, let alone an amp.
i'll report to you later as to what kind of amp i have.

pioneer premium deck of some kind
    760 pioneer amp.
two 450 pioneer subs, one box. (i'd say they are 10 or 12 inchers)

i do see where one can adjust the amp.
