    pinkerton is one of my favorite albums of all time. it is one of the most heartfelt records. i remember hearing it for the first time and thinking, "man, rivers shared a little too much of himself on this one", but with time i think that is what makes this album so endearing. i love "across the sea". you can almost feel his longing in that song and it has a deep personal meaning to me...

    i might pick one of these up for myself...

    unfortunately i'm not going to be able to get two of them though...sorry to the OP..

    i got their email the other day about this, i'm kinda on the fence....i already have the original pressing so i'm not sure i want to spend $45 + shipping.

    is there a track listing that shows how many 'b-sides, outtakes and live performances' are on it?

    if i read their site correctly all packages come with a lyric book

    I'm still on the fence on this one. I may just order the fan package. I'm not an autograph collector, so I'm pretty impartial toward the photo. The diorama thing looks cool and all, but, I would guess the quality is not really all that great. And then what do you do with the damn thing? As much as I love the album, I don't think those 2 extras are worth $30 to me.

    I wish they would do this for the Blue Album. I just cant seem to get into Pinkerton.

    They released a CD only Deluxe Edition of the Blue album a few years ago. Came with a pretty good 2nd disc of demos, live performances and outtakes.
