STP Concert Tonight

The wife and I are going to see Stone Temple Pilots tonight with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club opening. Hoping for a good show but you never know what you're going to get with Scott Weiland. I'll post a review later.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

    I'm going on 10/29, got pit tickets. My friend and guy from my site GrungeReport.net went to last night's show in Florida and said it was great. Also he's not some STP fanboy like me, if he thought it sucked he'd say so.

    Hope you get a good show. I saw them twice this past summer and they were really good, Weiland's still a great singer.

    Thought the show was very good. Both opening bands were solid and STP put on a great show. There was very little stage banter, which is probably a good thing since Scott isn't exactly the most coherent person these days. I wouldn't exactly recommend seeing the because they are hit and miss, but I'm definitely glad we went. The setlist included pretty most of the songs I was looking to hear besides Lady Picture Show, Big Bang Baby and Creep.

    That's a tough call. I would do it but that's just me. Luckily for me, there was no traffic and the venue is about 10 minutes from my apartment.
