Finally, someone else wanting the abolishment of political parties. It's at the 7:13 mark, although the whole interview is pretty good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIdkq4ax4bY

Ventura has a show on Tru TV Friday nights called Conspiracy Theory, has anyone seen it? The 2nd season starts this Friday. It looks worthy. http://www.trutv.com/shows/conspiracy_theory/index.html

  • Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.

I don't think political parties are the problem, I think campaign finances and lobbying are the heart of the issue.

Also, I have watched the show regularly, and albeit interesting, it's typically a very broad scoped look at some topics which typically amount to nothing more than conspiracy theory and not truth. Also, Alex Jones's presence on the show is proof of it :D His stamp of nuttiness is labeled all over it.

Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis

no kidding, he is only surpassed by the Brain

As the guy from Rocky 5 would say..."Only in America"

he has wrung every last bit of blood out of that turnip.

The worst part is people believe his show. Like the people behind all these huge conspiracies wouldn't just have him killed. My favorite was the bildeberg (not sure of spelling) episode where this doctor haed to fly in and out all secret like to tell Jesse that the immunizations that are given to people are all a plan to extreminate most of the earths population. it is great, her proof...a former congresswoman told her during a routine checkup...wouldn't name her of course...priceless.

anyone here watched that show? Want some real fun, head on over to the forum on tru tv

  • I was being serious. Never seen that show, but the shit that guy's done, seen, and been through in his life, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss him.

I live in minnesota, I know how quickly to dismiss him. He did more to damage 3rd party politics than any other person and that includes Ross Perot. If the conspiracies he was talking about and "proving" were true he would have been killed. The guy knows EXACTLY how to play an audience.

Hey, if he knows how to play to an audience as well as he does-- he can't be all that dumb. As for smartest man ever to step into a wrestling ring... My vote goes to none other than... VINCENT K. MCMAHON!

Unfortunately, political parties will always exist. The t.v.show "Survivor" is an excellent example. Immediately, people start forming alliances to get what they want.
"First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win ."

"With our thoughts we make the world"
  • His show is disconcerting. I hope he's wrong about everything he's presented. If not, sucks for us.
