    Man...I was watching that BBC Syd special the other day and was thinking the exact same thing. Makes those Live8 videos that much more powerful.

  • Great thread. Wright is so underrated. Not to discredit Roger's lyrics or David's guitar playing....but it's Wright who created that atmospheric "Pink Floyd Sound" which is really the band's primary claim to fame.

    And he also wrote some good stuff too. Summer '68, It Would Be So NIce, and Remember A Day are all great tunes.
