That confirms the planet is full of dribbling dorks

The Beatles - recognised by many as the best band of all time - were beaten into fourth place, outpointed by grunge kings Nirvana and California sock-wearers The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

  • AC/DC is garbage. Interestingly, I enjoy the bands that call them their heroes, but can't stand them. They have recorded and released the same album 73 times. The only good music was when Bon Scott was with the band.

These polls mean nothing in today's music climate. How Justin Timberflake can get more votes than Bob Marley is a travesty, and just shows the musical ignorance of today's youth.

Garbage, they are painful and I don't understand why they are so big.

  • It's MySpace... May as well take a "Best Place to Get Laid" poll at a Furry convention...

I like how Thriller came in 1st AND 5th place.

The Bon Scott era of ACDC +Back In Black is a pretty amazing run of tunage. It's always been basic rock, but to say they've made a career off the same song over and over is a joke. Just about as much diversity as any other mainstream rock band.

They still don't beat out the Beatles or alotta other bands.
