my house in the sea

There’s a house
that once upon a time
would sit by the sea

It seems to be coloured
In colours of yellow and green

When I live there
I shall get buried under the sea
...There are things
that scare me

I’ve seen this house
and it now sits
in the sea and…

And…

Inside it one time
was me

And when I looked outside
A window
I could see
A sunlit sky being lost to a moonlit sea

My mother was there
She saw the something that was there

…she saw that it scared me

She said, "sweety, take it easy”
It’s only the sea

This house in yellow and green
is built I think for a family
it houses no ghosts
at least none that I could see

I’m not sure if this house wants me
Think it wishes…
To house a happy family

Not a man looking out
Until he’s killed by the sea

A house of yellow walls
And carpets of green
And in the daylight
Even I thought

I’m no family

It’s just a house
In the middle of the sea
It tells me
It don’t wish to be built
Into a big fuckin deal

Surely it deserves something wiser than me
For there are things
And these things
They used to scare me And….

But no longer !

And once the sea kills me
The house shall float along
Through the changing seasons and
Through the changing seas
For eternity
And from outside
There will be seen looking out
A ghost of me

This one has a really clear visual image attached to it.
A yellow and green house floating in the water with a ghostly face at the window.

shalom - hebrew? yeah that's the bell
paz is spanish for peace (tranquility, yahda yahda)
and the early roman empire instigated the great Pax Romana - Peace for Rome though i remember nothing more,so i looked up a little better explanation:
"The Pax Romana, or Roman Peace, is a Latin term referring to the Empire in its glorified prime. From the end of the Republican civil wars, beginning with the accession of Augustus in 27 BC, this era in Roman history lasted until 180 AD and the death of Marcus Aurelius."
    so mashallah my man

i would sell my soul for some 1980's Afghani
    greatest weed i ever smoked
3 or 4 dudes on one joint = amazing experience out of this world = very clean feeling beyond how LSD feels.
$8.00 a joint in the 80's... well worth 20 bucks

    i'd pay $50.00 per joint
    which seens insane of me
but in fact very far from it

now im off to read your poem... sorry im late @ it...

sure i was young. but this stuff was beyond magical. it was exactly like eating acid or mushrooms. unreal the power of the mighty Afghani Pakistani herb is incredible.

    i'll gladly accept it.
    and thank you.

  • alas I aint that privy to the secrets as such but the humid weather helps.... you've said it right... there is a very clean feel to it... you stay fresh.... and it's just good .... for you.. you know.. in pakistan.the proper good stuff comes from the tribal regions in the northwest and those areas are no man's land...no authorities there so heavy duty stuff... my sister once actally went all the way in there ... with some friends to get the shit... cuttin out the middlemen if you know what i mean...there so it was risky in some respects... but you learn to handle yourself smartly and modestly so.. it was cool... in a way no shady business...it was being sold openly in shops... in huge fuckin quantities ... i mean forget about it.... and pretty much everyone on the streets was gettin high : ) no kiddin...

i gotta say, I've never done acid... shrooms neither ... but I'm scared of acid... here again, my cousin and sister especially love it... I'm at ease with myself, thank God, but there are things.... in this life... my life...past and present, which maybe I'm not entirely at ease with... and that 's why I don't got the shit to drop acid...

    the drug's clearly something...
