Does anyone have these Letterman performances on DVD that they would like to share? I have been searching for copies of PJ performances on Letterman and SNL since my wife cleared then off our DVR.0

Letterman always gets their sound Perfect! Throw on some headphones and listen to the Save You clip....The guitars are crunchy but clear, Matt sounds heavy, and Jeff is fat and really filling up the mix....Every Letterman performance sounds that good except Wishlist. Life Wasted and Hail Hail, Grievance (and Save you) all sound absolutely perfect as far as the mix....That's what all their boots should sound like .....
Yeah a great dvd release would look something like this.....U.S. mainstream TV experiences..Letterman, SNL, Conan, MTV Awards... My count that's 18 tracks, no repeats, mostly great performances. Works for me. Animal/Rockin from MTV is basically as much required viewing as Unplugged was, for me.
cheers!0 -
I can actually remember TAPING all of these on my VHS Pearl Jam TV appearances tape... standing by, waiting for the band to start. How pointless that turned out to be now that you can find anything online.
Still have the tape though.ABQ 93, Las Cruces 95, ABQ 98, Bridge School 10/30/99, Lubbock 00, ABQ 00, Denver 03, State College 03, San Diego 03, Vegas 03, PHX 03, D.C. 03, Camden 7/5/03, NYC 7/8/03 + 7/9/03, Vegas 06, San Francisco 7/15/06 + 7/16/06 + 7/18/06, Kansas City 10, [EV:ABQ 11/6/12], Chicago 13, PHX 13, Denver 14--PJ24!, Telluride 16, Chicago 8/20/16, Chicago 8/18/18, Phoenix 22, Denver 22, Vegas 5/16/24

I always liked the original time Ed was on the show to sing the end of Black...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYfkKnHBT5g
...That appearance started it all!0 -
Is it just me, or does it look like Dave is going to kiss Ed on the mouth when he goes to hug him at the end of "black"? I think he just got so overwhelmed by his presence he was drawn to him like a moth to a light, but it's still kindda funny to watch.
And amazingly, Ed came back!she holds the hand that holds her down, she will rise above!0 -

Maybe it was on the youtube comment or maybe it was here:
I was reading a comment where the guy was watching Letterman and turned it off. A few minutes later, he got a phone call from his buddy: "OH MY GAWDD!!!! DID YOU SEE THAT!!!! THAT WAS AWESOME!"
The response was something like: "See what?"
"Oh, Eddie was JUST ON LETTERMAN!"
Yeah... big-ass Pearl Jam fan turned it off too early and was called by his buddy.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

I mostly saw Letterman on Fridays or holidays during that time. Occasionally during the week. So I missed it the first time.I miss igotid880 -
I have all these clips saved as well. Been a diehard of Dave since the NBC days.
Heres 1 clip that has been left out.
Its the in between commercial skit they used to do with Paul Schaffer,
mocking the great James Brown.
This particular clip has Chris Eliot in it, and you can see the boys smiling and laughing at the antics.
Jeff seems to be enjoying it while Mike is like " WTF ? "

That outfit and that little dance  :wtf:And the sun it may be shining . . . but there's an ocean in my eyes0 -
