Had a blast last year, but I can't make it (afford it) this weekend. Pretty sweet lineup though: Band of Horses, Muse, Black Keys, Phish, Gaslight Anthem, The National, Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, Cage The Elephant, The Strokes, The Eagles - to name a few.

Good luck getting rid of the tickets.

damn. wish you had posted this 2 weeks ago! :o

we're leaving tomorrow morning for ACL....can't. fucking. wait. this will be our 4th year in a row to attend. best festival there is, in my opinion.

best of luck selling your tix. you could always try going to the shuttle pickup and selling them there.

Best festival indeed. Great city, great park, great music, great food, great atmosphere. Last year was incredible, even with all the mud. Have fun Matt!

i just hope i sleep tonight....b/c i'm pretty fucking excited!

After last year, I wasn't too excited about this year's line up anyways, and hubby just announced a fishing trip down on the border.

That mud was insane. Friday couldn't have been a more beautiful day. Watched Avett Brothers, The Walkmen, Daniel Johnston, Kings of Leon in perfect weather. Then it rained ALL DAY Saturday and I stood there with no jacket/poncho of any kind. My clothes were so damn heavy and freezing. Went and bought a jacket Saturday night and it didn't rain a drop Sunday - so guess what I got to carry around all day. And the 8 inch mud pit covering the entire park made for some interesting walking. Shoes got stuck every other step, ankle deep in that shit. Totally worth it to catch The Toadies, Ben Harper & Pearl Jam back to back to back though.

Granted, there's no Pearl Jam, but there's some pretty great finds in that lineup. Worth the price of admission for sure (for my taste at least). And like Matt said, you can always unload the tickets at the shuttle stops. Won't have any problems finding buyers there. Good luck.

yeah, i'd agree with that. this year's lineup is kind of a letdown (mainly the headliner in my opinion). we didn't buy 3day passes this year (we had the last 3 years), but instead picked one day that had a lot of bands that we wanted to see. that day is tomorrow...great lineup tomorrow. we'll try to hit an aftershow on Saturday. whatever happens, we're excited!

Just noticed Donovan Frankenreiter and Blues Traveler play tomorrow. Throw in the Black Keys, Sonic Youth, The Strokes, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Phish. Pretty amazing day of music tomorrow.

so pissed that I am in Korea for work right now...

I gave my tickets and hotel room at the Extended Stay at 6th and Guadapelupe to my friends.... My hotel was directly across the street from where the bus picks you up.... so rotted...

Getting back Saturday... but it will be too late to make it Saturday night, so my whole weekend is shot....

Enjoy fellow Texans, guess I'll see you there next year
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.
