My Arm Is Fucking Killing Me!!!!!!

and i don't know why. started in shoulder, now in both bi and triceps spanning from shoulder to elbow. range of motion is nearly nil. typing and writing left handed. progressively worse in the last 10 days...can't see an ortho until next week...hello leftover percocets...

anyone ever have any weird stuff happen like this? i'm not talking about falling down drunk or having thrown a back out while attempting trapeze sex. I mean ailments that come outta nowhere!

I can barely get dressed, let alone wipe my own ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :shock:

    :( I hope you get better soon. I've never had anything like that. The strangest thing was when I once lost all of my strength. I couldn't even fill the car up because I couldn't squeeze the trigger on the pump. That was a virus. Have you put your back out lifting stuff?

    my knee's ache every fall and spring and sometimes winter. they'll feel good for months, than the weather changes and they ache. it's annoying.

    sounds like you have something more serious. find a doc that can see you asap.

    Def a pinched nerve the bad news is theres not much u can do about it basic shoulder shrugs. It shouldnt hurt the more active u are its when u sit still (bed / tv time) that it really hurts. good luck brother.

    jay - popped a perc to take the edge off.

    pinched nerve will NOT make my day...whole arm is in quite a bit of distress...feels like a football stinger, but i haven't played in almost 20 years. and back then...yes i would have rubbed some dirt on it! ;)

    Hope you feel better, my husband had something like this - it was like some instant bursitis thing. He went to the doctor, was okay a couple days later.

    Earlier this year my wrist was killing me. I have no idea what caused it, just doing my daily thing. But I thought it was R.S.I. It got progressively worse. I couldn't even lift a can cause it hurt too much. SO I went to the physio after about a week or two. And it turns out I had a bone in my wrist that had popped out of its joint. He put it back in, and got better.

    I still can't cock my wrist. Have to keep it straight. I have only done a couple of weight sessions this year. I went from benching 90kgs to about 50 in 6 months, and it hurt too much so havent done that. Gave up tennis cause of it. But I have taken up boxing. And as long as I punch with a straight wrist it is fine. Can only do push ups on my knuckles too.
